The Empress Gives A Speech

By then end of this quarter, I plan on at least a dozen more systems joining our growing family, so you should be expecting officers of the Imperial fleet to call upon your cities for living quarters and bases of operation very soon. I'm sure you'll all be too happy to give them homes in your own."

The cold touch of the GALACTIC EMPIRE touches every planet in turn as Empress TARJA NATALIIS continues her obsessive search for the last remnants of the Jedi

Meanwhile on an unknown planet, Jedi Master DARALIS STORMS is attempting to reassemble the Jedi Order with less than a handful of Jedi including the soon-to-be Knighted siblings MIRRA and ORTHAN DEVONS, skilled Jedi Knight DELOS NIKYA, troubled padawan ARNAD CATAL and a recent addition to their small group, a Togrutan Jedi Master named TURAK KY.

The group works to reassemble not only the Jedi Order but the council as well without their longtime leader Jedi Master KEIRA ADEL, who has been missing for nearly a year now, at their side. Their currently leader, DARALIS STORMS, a protege of KEIRA ADEL, hopes to restore the old Jedi Order and freedom to the Jedi. This is not without personal struggle from DARALIS herself due to the fact that she is currently carrying a child that could only possibly be fathered by SIVA CHANTILLIS, a Jedi Knight, who left their ranks six months ago.

- Physical Description: Daralis is of medium height around 5 feet, 6 inches. She has pale, milky white skin. Her eyes are very blue with some shades of gray mixed in and are sometimes known to look like a stormy, winter’s night. Her hair is black as ebony and long in length, sometimes it falls in waves. She has light but toned muscles on her arms and legs and a toned stomach.


- Short Bio*: Daralis was born nearly thirteen years before the purges began on Yavin 4 and both of her parents were Jedi Knights. Her mother, Katarine, and her father, Antony, began her training from the time she was a very small child. Her childhood was happy and she always showed promise with her early Jedi training that she had strong powers already within her. When she was twelve, the purges began. Her parents were both killed in the early months of them and just days after being orphaned she was found by the Jedi Master Keira Adel.

Keira took Daralis in as her own and finished her training. Daralis remarkably completed her training at just the age of nineteen becoming a full Jedi Knight. Shortly after finishing her training, Keira left Daralis on her own. With the Imperial Police out looking for all force users, and a death mark on her head, Daralis was determined to find a way to survive. She knew Keira had left her on her own in the galaxy for a reason. So, to survive, Daralis adapted by creating an alias to help keep her alive in more ways than one. She was now known to all who met her as Lady Daralis Regan, an heiress from a small moon in the far stretches of the outer rims that was not a part of the Empire.

Lady Daralis was something different that Daralis imagined she would become. She appeared in rich clothing and with a superior attitude everywhere because that was now who she was. More than that she had made herself a smuggler, a gambler, and a merchant. She dealt with all kinds and on many planets. Daralis even made her alias the Captain of a luxury starship named Fortuna. She was not a pilot though and had to learn to use her abilities with the force to autopilot her ship or hire a pilot whenever she could. Using her alias she made herself a very good reputation for herself an evaded getting caught by the Imperial Police.


At the age of twenty-two Daralis along with another Jedi Knight by the name of Ewan were assigned a brother sister pair of padawans by Master Adel. Their names were Mirra and Orthan. On the way to a place Daralis knew would be good to train the padawans, the hyperdrive motivator on the Fortuna exploded injuring Ewan badly. They were near Bespin at the time and had not choice but to land. It was there that another young padawan named Arnad joined their crew.

When Daralis and her current crew got out into the city of Bespin they realized things were worse than they thought. The Imperial police had arrived there to look for force users. Ewan had been taken to a medical facility and left there. Her only hope was that he lived and was not discovered as a Jedi. Daralis quickly explored the city and inside the cantina called the Steel Sky she met a group of Jedi. Some of them she would later meet again and one of them in particular she felt a tremor from the moment of meeting him and knew that he would be of some importance to her life. His name was Siva.

In Bespin, she came the closest to being caught by the Imperial Police than she ever had. But something bigger made the Imperial Police leave the city and freed her crew of inspection. Before leaving the city she had met up with Siva once more at her landing platform. It was there that the sparks ignited that made her realize that she was falling for him. She then decided to invite him to come along and leave the city with her.

She left Bespin with the two padawans, Mirra and Orthan, that now were her responsibility, an injured Siva, and Arnad. When Daralis reached her destination she had met up with many other Jedi, some she had never met before. These Jedi expressed an interest in rebuilding the Jedi Council of old. Daralis was eager for this because not only would Keira had wanted this but she did as well. She wanted nothing more than peace in the galaxy. She then achieved the rank of Master at the young age of twenty-two, though nearly twenty-three, and was appointed to regrouping a new Jedi Council.

These Jedi soon disappeared. Daralis had no idea what had happened to them but they were gone. She was just happy that they were all safe where the Empress and her Imperial Police could not find them. Siva had taken Mirra as his own padawan and for a time Orthan was her padawan but that soon changed. At Orthan’s request Delos became his new master. Daralis suffered no heartbreak of this because she had so little time because she was trying to rebuild a Jedi council. Though the one thing she did try to make time for was Siva. She had fallen in love with him though she was not sure if he felt the same.


- Personality: very kind hearted, stubborn, can be quick to judge, has a tendency to be demanding, will not back down from something she’s invested hard time, has a harsh temper but does not like to lose it, very loving person, does not like to be mean to anyone, tends to seem like she has a superior attitude, hard worker, does not like to give up on anything

- Skills**: Force-wise, Daralis is a master of the lightsaber forms Shii-Cho, Niman, and Vaapad. She is able to use two lightsabers at once with ease, but prefers one blade as she can move much quicker only using a single lightsaber. Her skill with a lightsaber, however is far outshadowed by her skill manipulating the Force to her will. She shows sparks of powerful telekinetic skill, able to ignite her lightsaber from across the room as well as bring it to her in an instant. By trade, she is a Jedi Consular, a Jedi trained more in the ways of philosophy and usage of the Force than combat, and upon her christening as a Jedi Master, she was given the new title of Sage Master. Her skills reflect this.

Daralis is also a very good shot with a blaster, a skilled dancer and singer, and skilled with forms of meditation

- Flaws: Refer to personality traits, she is not capable of piloting a starship on her own, and not very skilled in forms of medicine. Because of her parents’ murder she fears that the purges will become out more out of control if the Empress is not stopped and sees that as her biggest downfall, she watched their slaughter and now she does little to stop the Empress because she fears it will be in revenge. Her biggest fear is losing those that she cares about because she has lost so many and Daralis sees that as a big flaw because she does not want to cling to those she loves to keep from losing them.

- Special Notes: Daralis usually dresses in fancy, ornate garb that her heiress alias Lady Daralis would wear. The skirts of all them come up in splits nearly to her thighs to give hear easy access to her lightsabers which she keeps hidded in thigh sheaths underneath them.

Being a Jedi was a life of great variation as the Jedi Order had several responsibilities. While many Jedi were generalists, some would specialize in one or more areas either in accordance with their own interests and preferences, or because they were delegated responsibility for an area that required specialization. With these specializations often came specific Jedi ranks. Moreover, in certain periods of the history of the Galaxy, some Jedi would assume military ranks fighting alongside Republic forces.

In times of war, especially when Sith forces were involved, Jedi would sometimes assume military ranks and govern armies of Republic military units, as was seen in the Mandalorian Wars, the Jedi Civil War, the New Sith Wars, and the Clone Wars. So Jedi indeed became soldiers, not just keepers of the peace.


* Jedi Commander – a Padawan serving as a Commander in the Grand Army of the Republic, the Jedi Commander is assigned to a Jedi General until knighted. Once a full Jedi, the Padawan is now referred to as General.

* Jedi General – a Jedi who had been placed in command of a Republic army. Considered a full General.

* Senior Jedi General – a high-ranking Jedi serving as general in the Clone Wars, the Senior Jedi General was typically a Jedi Master who was very experienced in warfare and battle tactics.

* High Jedi General – a member of the Jedi Council serving as a Jedi General during the Clone Wars, the Jedi High General would not only command their own army, but also supervise other Jedi Generals.

* Jedi Lord – a Jedi who served as a commander in the Army of Light during the New Sith Wars. The Jedi Lord assumed this title mainly out of political motivation. The rank was abolished after the war.


In addition to the ordinary military ranks, there were a number of ranks andtitles based on specialization in areas of warfare and combat.

* Force Warrior – a Jedi who was skilled in a special type of unarmed combat, using meditative martial arts and the Force.

* Jedi Ace – a Jedi who had specialized in starfighter combat, combining piloting skills with mastery of the Force.

* Jedi Brute – a Jedi being responsible for guarding the Jedi Temple, the Jedi brute would focus on physical strength and aggressive lightsaber combat.

* Jedi Gatemaster – the Jedi who served as the keeper of the main entrance at the Jedi Temple. These Jedi were usually trained in a special way.

* Jedi Sniper – another class of Jedi specializing in long-range telekinetic lightsaber combat with powers such as lightsaber throw.

* Jedi Guardian/Warrior Master – a Jedi Master who was especially skilled in battle, the Guardian (Warrior Master at master level) would concentrate mainly on martial training and combat in general without losing focus on diplomacy and the philosophies of the Force.

* Jedi Weapon Master – a Jedi Master who focused solely on battle, the Weapon Master was among the greatest fighters of the Order, but also had very limited insight into philosophy and non-combat related Force skills.

* Jedi Healer – Some Jedi would focus on the more Humanitarian aspects of the Force, specializing in Force powers based on Force healing. In addition to knowledge of such Force powers, also had extensive knowledge of medicine and
medical technology. Jedi healers were normally stationed at the Jedi Medical Corps Infirmary, but would also serve in the field. For instance, around the time of the Clone Wars, Jedi healers would serve aboard MedStar frigates and, occasionally, in Republic's mobile surgical units ("Rimsoos").

* Jedi Archaeologist – a Jedi who had specialized in gaining historical knowledge through archaeology, the Jedi archaeologist was often a member of the ExplorCorps and involved in expeditions of various kinds.

* Jedi Historian – a Jedi who had specialized in chronicling the history of the Galaxy and the Jedi Order, the Jedi historian knew virtually everything about the past of the Jedi Order.

* Jedi Librarian – a Jedi who had specialized in administrating vast databases of knowledge, the Jedi librarian was in charge of an important Jedi library, such as the ancient Great Jedi Library, the library of the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine, or the Jedi Archives.

* Jedi Consular/Sage Master – a Jedi Master dedicated to the mysteries of the Force, the Consular (Sage Master at master level) had deep insights into the philosophies of the Force and was a highly skilled user of many Force powers.

* Jedi Watchmen – Jedi were often called upon to act as impartial diplomats. They would serve as moderators and negotiators during disputes, and their judgments were often recognized as just and binding. When acting as diplomats, Jedi took the utmost care to be impartial and fair-minded.

Jedi Watchman were charged with overseeing a particular system or sector, thus serving as a type of liaison officer between the system or sector and the Jedi Council as well as the Republic in general. Jedi Watchmen were often highly skilled in diplomacy and possessed knowledge of the culture of the system or sector they oversaw. Often Jedi Watchmen originated from the system or sector they were tasked with overseeing.

* Jedi investigator – a Jedi specially appointed by the Council to uncover hidden and obscure threats to the Galaxy such as powerful criminal syndicates, corruption and conspiracy against the Republic and other shady menaces. The Jedi
investigator would often work alone and undercover to infiltrate suspicious organizations or would be busy investigating some act of crime.

* Jedi Sentinel – a Jedi Sentinel was the perfect balance between the Jedi Guardian and the Jedi Consular, possessing great skills in combat and knowledge in the force. This type of Jedi functioned like both the Jedi investigator and the Jedi Shadow, rooting out and destroying both crime and the dark side. In addition, the Jedi Sentinel also had skills in various other studies.

* Jedi Shadow – a Jedi whose job was to seek out and destroy any sign of the dark side of the Force, the Jedi shadow was the Jedi Order's primary weapon against the Dark side up until the Clone Wars.

* Jedi Instructor – a Jedi accountable for giving general teachings to Younglings, Padawans, or the occasional older beings. Sometimes Council members, who were frequently at the Jedi Temple, where initial instruction commonly took place, served as Jedi instructors. However, most such mentors were stationed at a Jedi Praxeum or academy.

* Jedi Battlemaster – a Jedi highly skilled in lightsaber combat, the Battlemaster was the lightsaber combat instructor of a Jedi Praxeum or academy.

The Admin of This Blog Can't Help Her Addiction to YouTube

In true Star Wars fashion the "Duel of the Fates" music remixed and in a YouTube video. Yes I have a YouTube addiction. I can't help it. Just be glad I'm not advertised some of the other videos on my favorites. Some die hard Star Wars fans may not like them. I just thought it would be a nice video to reflect what happened many years before this RPG begins. It's sort of like a trailer of the past per say.
