*The GM's will expect at least four paragraphs of information on your character, but not a term-paper detailing their whole life. If you're an avid writer and you enjoy writing such long narratives, please feel free to knock yourself out. We'll still read it and we'll still enjoy it.

**Be descriptive and be realistic. I don't care if you're a Jedi or not.

***Status as in Padawan or Knight. You have to work up to Master and no amount of whining will get you put in immediately as a Master.

Welcome to the Future of Star Wars

Welcome to the Future of Star Wars. This is a role playing game that takes place approximately 100 years after the Return of the Jedi. The game is played through a yahoo group or email in text format. In the game a lot of the events of the past are starting to repeat themselves just in different ways. There is a new Galactic Empire. The Empire is lead by an Empress and not an Emporer. Most of the action is taking place with the few Jedi who are "free" because they remain in hiding. The Jedi are enemies of the Empire and have been for over ten years. Many Jedi have died because the Imperial Police have orders to kill any Jedi they find on sight with no questions asked. They are now trying to rebuild the Jedi council. The fate of the Galaxy rests between Jedi, Sith, Civillian, and Politician and no one knows who will win. Anyone may join who chooses and submits a character profile. After that you join the yahoo groups for the RPG and are a full-fledged member. Any ideas any member has for the story are welcomed and greatly appreciated. The current sotry line is in the works and being developed by the GM Jay and Co-GM Jacki Lynn. As soon as it is finished it will be posted here. The description of the game, how to join, and links to the yahoo groups are on the right side of the page.

A Description of the Game

Takes place approximately 100 years after the Return of the Jedi. A New Galactic Empire has formed and once again the Jedi are having to go into hiding. All across the Galaxy the Imperial police hunt down the Jedi and kill them by order of the Empress Tarja Nataliis. The few of the Jedi are reforming and trying to put together the ancient Jedi Council in hopes to put order back to the Galaxy. The Senate is now falling into turmoil pitting one against each other just to gain favor with their new leader and to keep their territories free of complete Imperial control. With the last hopes falling on just a few remaining free Jedi and the Sith near a coup within their own group can order be re-established?

The Current Storyline

The Empress is up to something, even some members of the Imperial Senate can start to sense it. Yet her biggest battle is not with destroying the last remnants of the Jedi, but with the Dark Jedi who could bring about a coup de etat to the entire galaxy. But the the last True Jedi are still out there, in hiding from the Empress's Imperial Police who have only one order: "Kill first, ask questions later." A few of them are gathered on a planet on the far reaches of the outer rim with a new goal, to rebuild the Jedi Council of the days of old. However, they do it without their long time leader, Jedi Master Keira Adel, who has been missing for some time. This time the organization is going under the leadership of a young Jedi Master, and Master Adel's protégé, Daralis Storms. Master Storms and her small group of Jedi are training and preparing not only to rebuild the council but to find a way to regain their freedom from the Empress.

Our Rating

The rating of this game is considered PG-13 for violence and mild language. Sensuality is allowed but strong sexuality in posts is strictly forbidden by the GM's of the game. A post may be "R" rated but it must be marked so before it is posted to the RPG. Anything NC-17 is strictly forbbidden by the GM's and game rules. The game GM and Co-GM also reserve the right to flag any posts that do not adhere to the rating rules as innopropriate and may ask a user to remove and rewrite such post so that it does adhear to rating rules.

Joining the Game

If you are interested in joining the game contact Co-GM Jacki Lynn at the email address storms_daralis@yahoo.com and she will get you in touch with the head GM and discuss creating you character with you and such. You may also just submit a character profile directly to Jacki Lynn at the above email address. You will also be required to submit a sample roleplay with all of your character information when you submit to join. The character may be a civillian, Jedi/Padawan, Sith/Apprentice, Imperial Policeman, Senator, or any other player that would be of importance to the Empire. Any ideas you have are welcomed so feel free to submit them, that includes a character as powerful as the Empress Tarja Nataliis (just not the Empress herself because she is already being played by someone) or just a regular smugglar who is looking for a means to get through the day.
